Ever wonder what it’s like to live in outer space? Find out at SciGirls’s LIVE CONVERSATION WITH AN ASTRONAUT FROM SPACE!
Great news: NASA has selected SciGirls to participate in a real-time conversation with astronaut Christina Koch aboard the International Space Station! You’re invited to join as we watch and listen as she answers kids’ questions about living, working and exploring on board the International Space Station. What do astronauts eat? What do they do for fun? How do they brush their teeth, exercise or even keep in touch with their family and friends back home on earth?
Visit the SciGirls in Space page for astronaut bios, activities, and more!
It is scheduled for Monday, August 19, between 9:55-10:15AM CT. This downlink with the ISS will last 20 minutes. We will know the exact start time one week before the event is scheduled.
The downlink will be streamed on NASA TV and recorded for wider dissemination throughout the SciGirls CONNECT network.
